If you’re looking to feel all the feelings, we’ve got some good news. We’re hosting a virtual premiere of Mayim Bialik’s directorial debut, “As They Made Us” — giving away 100 (!) tickets, for free (!!!).
The film, which is based on Bialik’s own life, stars Jewish icons like “Glee” star Diana Agron, “Big Bang Theory’s” Simon Helberg and the one and only Dustin Hoffman, as well as Candice Bergen, who plays one heck of a Jewish mom.
The movie tells the story of Abigail, a divorced mom of two, who is trying to keep her family together, reconnect with her estranged brother and support her dying father. It is truly an emotional tour de force, weaving in flashback scenes from a troubled childhood with the present, and will make you feel the full range of human emotion. Basically — you need to watch it.
