Why Mila Kunis Didn’t Like Ashton Kutcher’s Baby Name Choice

Naming your baby is hard–especially when you and your spouse disagree on names. This is what happened to Jewish actress Mila Kunis and her husband, Ashton Kutcher. During a recent interview on “Conan,” 38-year-old Kutcher dished about the process of naming of their second child.

The couple, who are already parents to their 2-year-old daughter Wyatt, recently revealed that their second child will be a boy. Apparently, Kutcher had an idea for a name that Mila already shot down, which he explained to Conan:

“There was a rallying cry from a collective that believed in the name Hawkeye… I’m an Iowan. And it’s, like, M*A*S*H. He could be a doctor!

Hawkeye Kutcher didn’t fly, it didn’t get across the Mila threshold.”

However, the couple did finally agree on a name, but they’re keeping it under wraps for now:

“We have a name dialed in, which we’ve had for a while. The problem is, if you get the name too soon, there can be slight trepidation around the name. Now we’re like, ‘Maybe we don’t like the name,’ even though we both love the name. So, I think we have the name.”

I can’t say I’m not curious about what it is. Watch Kutcher’s full interview below.
