When People Choose Not to Have Kids, This is What They Deal With

A planned documentary is aiming to look at the lives of people who are child-free by choice, often labeled “selfish” or unnatural even in our enlightened times.

They’ve been scolded by the pope, by pundits, by moralists everywhere–yet they are making a decision that feels conscious and moral.

This film, Therese Shechter’s My So-Called Selfish Life, will give a voice to the people who are actively choosing to live life sans offspring. Watch the trailer below–there’s an Ivanka Trump cameo that may make you laugh out loud. And kick in to its Kickstarter if you want to see more!
