Samantha Taylor, Kveller writer and mom, spoke on CNN about Charlottesville, largely about how we need to stand up for what we believe in. “If we stay quiet, we’re just as guilty,” Taylor said.
When she was asked about what she would say to Trump, Taylor went on to say, “Shame on you. He’s silently signaling these people. The more he doesn’t come out completely against this… the scarier it gets.”
Taylor was brave and bold—and an inspiration for how we all need to speak out against hatred and violence, not just sit back waiting for someone else to.
