This Book Completely Gets All of Your Jewish Parenting Struggles (And We’re Giving It Away!)

Just because summer is basically over doesn’t mean you stop reading. Yes, the summer reading lists are dwindling now (as are the long daylight hours), but there’s a new book that we’re pretty in love with. It’s Kveller contributor Michelle Brafman‘s new book “Bertrand Court.”

The book of short stories is set in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, consisting of 17 interconnected stories. In one story, a character deals with the painful tragedy of an early pregnancy loss story, illustrating how private grief can truly leave a mark. Other stories include many Jewish parenting struggles we all know too well, including a bris gone wrong and an interfaith relationship that erupts during a trip to Minocqua. What’s not to love?

If this doesn’t intrigue you, I don’t know what will. Luckily, we’re giving away a copy of Michelle’s book to three winners until next Monday, September 5th. Enter to win the giveaway below:
