2019 was a most wonderful year for Jewish babies — some of our favorite celebrities were fruitful and multiplied this year, and the adorableness is almost too much for us to handle!
As the year draws to a close, consider this a highlight reel, if you will, of all the cute celebrity Jewish babies of 2019:
Andy Cohen
Benjamin Cohen, who was born via surrogate this February, is quite possibly the cutest Jewish baby around! We love his “Semitic” hair, we love his amazing outfits, and we love his dad’s sense of humor. We’re so glad he came into our lives!
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky
The former First Daughter and her Jewish husband had her third child, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky, this July. Grandmother Hillary kvelled (as all grandmas are wont to do) and so did we!
Sharing some happy news this morning! Bill and I are so thrilled. https://t.co/199K5REg8G

Tamron Hall and Steven Greener
Journalist and talk show host Tamron Hall welcomed her first baby with husband Steve Greener at age 48 this April. They gave him the very cute and very Jewish name Moses!
Greener is Jewish, and the couple is raising their sweet little one with both Jewish and Christian traditions. Here he is dressed as the biblical Moses for Halloween, complete with his own “Baby 10 Commandments.” We love it.
Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach
Lady Bird and Little Women director Greta Gerwig had a secret baby with her partner, Jewish filmmaker Noah Baumbach this year. Baby Harold (full name: Harold Ralph Gerwig Baumbach) was born 24 hours after Gerwig turned in her rough cut for Little Women. (Wow!) While we do not know if he had a bris, we do know that Gerwig feels like he was “christened” by Meryl Streep, who met him when he was just a few days old, recording some additional material for the film.

Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer
Amy Schumer and husband Chris Fischer had their first baby this May, just a day away from the royal baby (who, in case you missed it, has a really Jewish name). Baby Gene Attell was (reportedly) named after two great Jewish comedians, and since becoming a mom, Schumer has inspired us by setting trolls right about autism and opening up about struggles with going back to work.

Rachel Platten and Kevin Lazan
That’s right, the lovely Jewish “Fight Song” singer and her Jewish hubby welcomed adorable little Violet Skye this January. Since then, little Violet Skye has travelled through states and continents, on tour with her mom.
Nev Schulman and Laura Perlongo
The Jewish Catfish host and producer and his wife Laura Perlongo welcomed their second son, Beau Bobby Bruce, this January. While their older daughter, Cleo, already has her own art-related Instagram account (to be clear, she is three, and yes, it is amazing), baby Beau is currently not on any social media platform. But we hope that will change!
Coming soon…
Rachel Bloom announced she was pregnant this year, and honestly, we’re really excited for the amazing show-runner and comedian to join the tribe of Jewish moms. Welcome, Rachel!
