Yesterday morning, the dynamic Jewish sister duo, comedian Sarah Silverman and Rabbi Susan Silverman, appeared on “The View.” And both sisters agreed that Sarah is the least funniest member of their family.
Susan started it off (as older sisters often do), stating:
“At home, Sarah is basically, in terms of comedy, just one of the crowd.”
“The View” aired a “Saturday Night Live” clip from 1994, where Sarah jokes about Susan’s wedding (“They hyphenated their names… but now they’re thinking of just shortening it to ‘Jews’). Sarah also recounted how Susan used to wield a kitchen knife just to scare her while babysitting (ahh, sisters). Susan’s new book, “Casting Lots,” was also a prime topic for conversation–and the rabbi delivered an impassioned plea for why adoption and foster care is so important.
