Sarah Jessica Parker, Jewish mom and mah jongg lover, is currently visiting Israel with her family. And, as most tourists do, she visited the Western Wall. (Israeli news site Walla reported on her trip, writing, “Holy Shit: Sarah Jessica Parker at the Holy City.”)
An Israeli celebrity news site shared an image of Sarah praying at the wall, writing, “We hope you didn’t forget to put a note in”:

SJP commented on the post, writing, “Grateful to be in such a glorious city. I thank all in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem who have shown such lovely hospitality. It’s a thrill to be here. X”
The actress, 54, was born in Ohio to a Jewish dad, and has said she identifies with her father’s religion. Her husband, the actor Matthew Broderick, has a Jewish mom. Together, they have three children.
Reportedly, the private family trip was planned by OUTstanding Travel, a gay tourism company run by Nadav Peretz. On his Instagram stories, Peretz posted a photo of himself and Sarah looking over the Western Wall in Jerusalem:
A few days ago, SJP posted a video from Tel Aviv in which she whispers “rabbit rabbit.” For those not superstitious, “rabbit rabbit” is a phrase that people say first thing on the first day of a new month to ensure good luck:
Sarah and family, we hope you’re enjoying your time in Israel!
