Apparently, Pink is the most beautiful person alive. At least, according to People. The 38-year-old Jewish pop star and mom of two graces the cover of the magazine’s “Beautiful Issue.”
On the The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, she talked about how it’s important to be beautiful in different ways, inside and out:
I love the way things are changing and I love that our perception of beauty has completely been knocked on its head. There’s nothing wrong with beautiful, and there’s nothing wrong with beautiful on the inside, beautiful on the outside, it’s all different shades and sizes. It means whatever it means to you.
We’re totally kvelling about how Pink’s adorable kids — 15-month-old Jameson Moon Hart and 6-year-old Willow Sage Hart — are also on the magazine’s cover.
When it comes to parenting, the award-winning singer told People how she’s taking it “day by day” with husband Carey Hart, adding:
The thing about parenting is you never know if anything you’re doing is working. That’s been the most humbling thing for me. In my head, I sound amazing and then I turn around and her eyes are completely glazed over. I have no idea. We’ll see.
Pink’s main mom rule? Be affectionate — which is a pretty good goal:
Yeah, I believe in affection. I believe in needs being met and faith being implemented, and I believe in letting your kids know they can count on you, and that you’ll be there. My parents obviously did not believe in that and I worked out okay. I always tell Willow, ‘I’m going to teach you the rules so that you’ll know how and when to break them.’
