Natalie Portman’s pregnant belly was the star in James Blake’s new music video for his song, “My Willing Heart.” You’re probably thinking, what? But it’s true–Portman and her baby were the stars–and it’s beautiful to see pregnancy being celebrated.
The music video is set in black-and-white, which gives it a retro, dreamy, and surreal aesthetic. Portman is shown on a bed caressing her belly–illustrating the love she already feels for her child. She is also shown floating in water, symbolizing the cycle of life–we are always evolving and being reborn.
Portman gave birth to her daughter, according to FACT Mag, just a few days after this was filmed. The best part? You can totally see Amalia kicking inside her belly halfway through the video–and it’s truly striking.
