So, I know I was just kvelling over Natalie Portman starring in a Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic, but this amazing woman just won’t stop impressing me! According to our friends at JTA, the Oscar-winning Jewish actress will also be playing Jackie Kennedy.
The film, entitled “Jackie,” will focus on the four days after the assassination of Kennedy’s husband, President John F. Kennedy Jr. Portman will be tasked with portraying the pain of a woman who lost the love of her life in a devastatingly violent and public way.
(And not that this is all that important, but, her classic, eternal beauty will also help bring Jackie to life.)
Considering her incredible and emotional performance in “Black Swan,” which won her the Oscar, our (and the world’s) expectations are very high. But, I’m fairly confident she’ll rise to the challenge and exceed our expectations.
