Alex Borstein, fresh off her Emmy win for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, shared a trio of Instagram posts to celebrate the holiday of Sukkot.
Borstein, the 47-year-old Jewish actress, has entered the spotlight this year due to her star turn as Susie on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. And while it may be weird to post about Sukkot, the Jewish harvest festival that’s not exactly a huge mainstream holiday, Borstein does not care. Borstein adores Sukkot. And we adore her.
In her first post, Borstein writes, “Gonna transform this into our sukkah tonight. Gonna eat beneath the stars tonight. Gonna make peace with an angry world. Gonna build a better universe for every girl. #believewomen #sukkot2018 ⭐🌠🌝🍴💫🔯”
(We love the emoji choice, BTW.)
In the second post, she shares, “what a perfect evening for a sukkah,” and in the third, somewhat more exasperated post she writes, “it’s sukkot so y’all can suck it!! #sukkot2018 #shabbatshalom 🌱🍋”
Honestly, Alex Borstein celebrating Sukkot is a freakin’ mood.
