Jeff Goldblum seems to be everywhere these days. An enormous, bare chested statue of him popped up in London. He’s been called summer 2018’s fashion icon by The Guardian. He just launched a new series on Funny or Die called Cooking with Jeff Goldblum, and he’s releasing his debut jazz album this year.
Why!? (Why not?)
The 65-year-old Jewish dad is a parent to two boys — 2-year-old Charlie Ocean and 1-year-old River Joe — with his wife, former Canadian gymnast Emilie Livingston. And he is charmingly self-aware about the Internet’s obsession with him. In a 2017 GQ profile, he says, “I like to look at #jeffgoldblum on Instagram, which my wife makes fun of. And then I take pictures of the things that interest me. [Pulls out his phone] There are many paintings and pictures of me, some nice and some very primitive and bad. People get tattoos of my face. This is me in a banana split, where I’m the center of a dessert. People made a balloon out of me…very nipply. Quite nipply…. You see why my wife says, ‘Cut it out.'”
The statue of him that appeared in London — in which he’s reclining, with chest hair on display — is from an iconic scene from Jurassic Park. As JTA reported, “The statue, which is 25 feet long and portrays Goldblum lounging with his shirt open, was erected by a British streaming service as a temporary exhibition in honor of the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park.”
25ft Jeff Goldblum statue pops up in London to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park, which was June 11th, a month ago. Also none of the movie was filmed in London nor is Jeff Goldblum a native of the English capital. So let's just bask in its nonsensical glory. pic.twitter.com/TKQKozleMn

Goldblum is currently reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and doesn’t seem to mind the viral memes of his shirtless self. As for his talk show, Cooking With Jeff Goldblum? Well it’s simply delightful:
