Good news, Kvellers: Our podcast, “Call Your Mother” is officially back!
We may not be in the studio, but hosts Jordana Horn and Shannon Sarna are recording LIVE from the discomfort of their child-filled homes. (They have nine kids between them. Enough said.)
In the episode, Shannon and Jordana speak to author and clinical social worker Carla Naumburg about how to be more chill with your kids during this difficult time. Carla, who has written three books about parenting, including one accurately and aptly titled How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t with Your Kids: A Practical Guide to Becoming a Calmer, Happier Parent, shares some truly wonderful strategies on how to keep your cool during the heat of this pandemic summer of 2020.
Carla has some great tips about how to identify your own triggers, as well as how to carve space to take care of your own needs. Shannon’s daughter pops in for a brief cameo and we answer some audience questions, too.
