Andy Herald is a self-proclaimed Star Wars nerd. So, naturally, he wanted to share his love of the movies with his son. Since Herald co-runs the YouTube channel How To Be A Dad with Charlie Capen, he had a brilliant idea: to watch “Star Wars: A New Hope” for the first time with his 7-year-old son Lucas while filming his reaction.
What was the outcome? Only the most adorable thing ever. Lucas asked A TON of questions, and they’re all pretty great (“Is he electrocuting?” “How do you learn how to use the force?” “Who’s his dad?”)
Herald told Buzzfeed how special this moment was for him as a dad:

“It held a deep, wonderfully golden weight for me. To share Star Wars with my son for the first time. Rather than saying it’s part of my childhood, I’d say it was part of my DNA. And I wanted it to be a part of his.”
Lucas is apparently now “obsessed” with the movies, and the pair have watched the entire original trilogy together.
