Shira Zwebner

A native New Yorker, Shira Kallus Zwebner is a WAHM, writer and telecommuting communications consultant. After a decade working in public relations representing brand names including Amazon, McDonald's, The NFL Quarterback Club, New Balance, The V Foundation for Cancer Research and Shell Oil, Shira moved to Tel Aviv to pursue her passion for creative writing. Shira completed an MA in English at the Shaindy Rudoff Graduate program in Creative Writing at Bar-Ilan University before marrying her husband and moving to Jerusalem. Within the span of a decade, Shira had three wonderful children, became the Director of Social Media and Public Relations for a Pennsylvania based mobile marketing agency, and was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. A very recent survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Shira became the first international blogger for Cure Magazine, a leading cancer publication and resource. Shira's writing can be found on Curetoday.com, The Times of Israel, and shelter blogs including Mohawk Homescapes, Creative Home and Live Beautifully. An anglophile and foodie, Shira's obsessed with Sunday afternoon football, food instagrammers, pop culture, and finding a cure for cancer.
