Rabbi Elyssa Cherney

Rabbi Elyssa Cherney  leads lifecycle rituals for couples and families in Philadelphia who aren’t affiliated with a particular synagogue and runs the organization TacklingTorah to help everyday people connect their Judaism to holy moments in their lives. She has been a pulpit rabbi, Jewish educator for people of all ages, and is currently a Rukin fellow with 18Doors. She is grateful to her husband Alan and kiddos Ava Jane and Zeke for supporting her in this holy work.
