Mia Simring is a JTS-ordained rabbi living in her native New York City, raising two fourth-generation New Yorkers with her husband Jimmy. Her professional life has focussed on loss and illness, and she is also a fellow with Immerse NYC, where she has worked with women struggling to conceive and helped to translate and create rituals for everyday milestones.
