Meredith Polsky

Meredith Englander Polsky co-founded Matan in 2000 and currently serves as Matan’s National Director of Institutes and Training. Meredith is a nationally sought-after speaker on Jewish Special Education, and is often called upon as an expert voice in the field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Bank Street College, a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and a graduate certificate in Early Intervention from Georgetown University. She is co-author of I Have a Question about Death and I Have a Question about Divorce, the first books on these topics specifically written for children with autism spectrum disorder or other special needs. Meredith lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and three children.
