Diana Bletter is the author of the novel, A Remarkable Kindness (HarperCollins), the intertwined stories of four American women who are friends and members of a burial circle in a small beach village in northern Israel. As the women take part in this ancient ritual for the dead, they come to understand what it means to truly be alive.
