Debra Jacobs

Bio: Debra Jacobs, Ed.M., is a preschool owner/director and a writer. Her blog, parentingforchange.com, offers parents and teachers of preschoolers quick and easy activities to plant the seeds of social justice. She was the lead editor of From Home to Homeland: What Adoptive Families Need to Know Before Making a Return Trip to China (co-edited with Iris Chin Ponte, Ph.D., and Leslie Wang). Debra has also worked as a preschool curriculum consultant and a parent coach, and has been a workshop leader at several early childhood and adoption conferences. She lives in the Boston area with her two daughters.
