Cara Erdheim Kilgallen

Cara Erdheim Kilgallen is a creator of stories and a connector of people, an author, a college professor of English, and an avid athlete; she is a lifelong golfer, tennis player, and figure skater. She writes creative nonfiction, public-facing stories, and academic articles that delve into a vast array of topics: athletics; disability; the environment; food/hunger; humor; and spirituality.  Her personal prose connects sport, particularly golf, with motherhood and family as well as human experience.  Her academic and public-facing writing focuses on comedy, humor, American literary naturalism, and higher education.
