Blumie Abend leads a busy and sometimes stressful life of a part time working mom. She is a preschool teacher, a wife and a mother to two adorable little girls, aged 3.5 and 1. She writes in the wee hours of the morning, when the house is blessedly quiet. Blumie has a passion for writing and many of her articles and poetry stem from her life experiences, particularly those involving her children, the first of who was born with a cleft lip palate and three half missing fingers.
