Audrey Barbakoff

Dr. Audrey Barbakoff is a librarian, author, and entrepreneur. Her debut picture book, "The Schlemiel Kids Save the Moon," is a modern-day twist on a Chelm folktale, brimming with Yiddish, diversity, and zany antics. She has also written multiple professional development books and articles for librarians. Audrey holds an EdD from the University of Southern California and an MLIS from the University of Washington. When not writing, you can find her tending to her chickens or cajoling her preschooler to eat just one more bite.
