Anna Levine was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada was raised in Montreal, Quebec and is now living in Israel. An award winning author of childrens literature, her novels "Freefall" (Greenwillow/HarperCollins) and "Running on Eggs" (Front Street/Cricket Books) and picture books are all set in Israel. When she's not writing, she does the next best thing that she loves--teaching middle school.
