Deciding whether or not to share your pictures of your kids on social media is hard–especially since you know they’ll eventually see everything, following that trail all over the internet. It’s even harder, of course, when you’re in the public eye. Anne Hathaway, who gave birth last spring, avoided posting pictures of her son until now.
Hathway broke the social media silence with Instagram, posting a photo of her one-year-old child, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, with husband Adam Shulman. We don’t get to see Jonathan’s face, but we do get to see the cute lion onesie he’s wearing. Hathaway captioned the photo saying, “JRS watching Mommy give her speech at the UN yesterday,” which points to the speech about paid parental leave she gave–a speech that noted how the U.S. is pretty bad at supporting parents.
