Anne Hathaway became a mom for the first time on March 24 in Los Angeles with her Jewish husband Adam Shulman, who is also an actor, producer and jewelry designer. They named their newborn son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, according to Time.
The 32-year-old initially debuted her baby bump this past January while wearing a bikini in an Instagram photo:
The couple got married in 2012, although they have been together since 2008. In a 2013 interview with Vogue Hathaway opened up about how excited she was to be a mother although though she wasn’t yet pregnant, stating:
“Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”
Mazel tov to the new parents!
