Adam Levine Is Trying to Get His Baby Girl to Say This as Her First Word

Who knew Adam Levine would be so into fatherhood? The Jewish musician appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” this past Tuesday, where he was talking about his newborn daughter, Dusty Rose.

Apparently, he and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are battling over Dusty’s first word, as many parents do. Naturally, Levine wants her to say “dada” and Prinsloo wants her to say “mama.” He told Fallon:

“I’ve been working ‘dada’ hard. You work on it really hard and you slip it into every single thing you say. If she’s being cute, you’re like, ‘Oh, my God! Look at how cute you are! Dada!’’

My wife is working ‘mama,’ so it’s like, it’s a battle to the finish.”

Perhaps Dusty will just say something else completely different, and throw everyone for a loop. Apparently, my own mom informed me I said “cookie” as my first word–you can see where my priorities were (and probably still are).
