Tummy time has proven to be a great technique to help babies develop muscles and achieve gross motor skills. The only problem? Most babies just don’t like it. Robin Tacchetti, a Jewish mother of three and a physical therapist, has invented a great item called The Biddy Belly to help encourage more happy tummy time.
The Biddy Belly not only helps take away the frustration of tummy time, but it is also cute and fun to play with. This tummy time mat is shaped like a giraffe and has many features for the baby to interact with including a “crinkle material” nose, a squeak and horn ears, and toys hanging off the side of the giraffes neck.
