It’s hard to believe it, but it’s been about a year since the Covid-19 pandemic hit our shores, changing all of our lives dramatically.
For parents, this year has been so incredibly challenging. We’ve had to contend with no childcare; the risks of sending our kids to daycares, schools, and summer camps — that is, if they opened at all; trying to juggle working from home and parenting from home; and, of course, a host of other challenges.
Suffice to say, it’s been a stressful year. So we thought that we might all take a chance and unwind together, as a community, for a relaxing, reflective event with a Jewish touch. This Friday, March 5, at 4 PM Eastern, Kveller hosted a guided Jewish meditation session for parents led by the wonderful Rabbi Danielle Upbin. In this deep and meaningful session, Rabbi Danielle helped recenter and relax, and provided useful tips for centering and steeling ourselves for the still-difficult months ahead.
And of course, while designed for busy parents, this stress-busting session is useful for anyone in need of some Jewish relaxation.
