Summer break has officially come to an end, which means one thing: back to school! There’s something so exciting about getting fresh school supplies, adorable first day outfits, and above all, getting your kids back to their regular schedule (and, um, out of the house).

Just like all of us normal folk, Jewish celebrities have been sharing images of their adorable children on their first day of school, sappy captions and all. As we do here at Kveller, we rounded them up for you.

1. Jessica Mulroney

Our favorite Canadian fashion stylist, Jewish mom, and BFF of Meghan Markle, Jessica Mulroney, 39,  shared a very funny image in honor of the first day of school for her three kids — Isabel, 6, Brian, 9, and John, 9. “I know all you wanted was one good shot of the kids on their kids day back,” Mulroney wrote, directed at her husband, Ben Mulroney. “I FAILED… as a mother and wife. Please forgive me!!”

Well, we kinda disagree! Honestly, the photo is pretty darn cute.

2. Sarah Jessica Parker

Jewish mom Sarah Jessica Parker, 54, shared a few sweet pictures of her three children that she shares with her hubs, Matthew Broderick, 57. — James, 16, and twins Marion and Tabitha, 10.

“5th grade. First day. The middle school hustle begins,” the Sex and the City star captioned a series of photos of daughters Marion and Tabitha.

The Jewish couple’s eldest son got more of a heartfelt post for his first day of 11th grade: ”No longer able to capture in the center of the frame. Because they are off. But always captures the center of my heart. X, Mama.” So poetic, so relatable!

3. Sarah Michelle Gellar

Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar, 42 is known for hiding her children’s faces in images, and the first day of school is no exception. Still, she expertly captured the sweetness of the day.

“There are no perfect parents, and no perfect kids, but there are perfect moments,” the Jewish mom captioned her Instagram post. Amen!

Gellar shares children Charlotte, 9, and Rocky, 7 with her hunky husband Freddie Prinze, Jr., 43.

4. Busy Philipps

Busy Philipps, 40, isn’t Jewish, but her kids sure are. Philipps and her Jewish husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein, 48, have two beautiful daughters — Cricket, 6, and Birdie, 11, — but only one was given a tribute post.

“First grade doesn’t stand a chance,” the Jew-ish mom captioned a photo of her gorgeous daughter.

5. Jessica Seinfeld

Jessica Seinfeld, 47, wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, 65, shared a touching Instagram post of her flock of three hugging their father.

“And just like that, they leave the nest. (For now),” she captioned the photo.

The Jewish couple’s eldest daughter, Sascha, 18, is the first of their brood to go to college. The other two, Julian, 16, and Shepherd, 14, have a few years before they leave the nest.
