Jewish mom and actress Selma Blair has captivated us over the past year with her bravery. In October 2018, she opened up about her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, and later she strutted the Oscars red carpet in a jaw-dropping dress and cane. And now, the celebrity is warming our hearts with a moving image.
Over the weekend, Blair shared an Instagram photo of her son, Arthur Saint Bleick, 7, shaving her hair with a razor. “People. #selmablair #arthursaintbleick. Back to my roots,” she captioned the captivating post.

Why did Blair have her young son give her a new ‘do? She didn’t explicitly specify — not that she needs a reason — but she did agree with a commenter who wrote, “Hair is SO HARD to deal with when you can’t lift your arms above your head.”

Back in April, the Cruel Intentions actress shared on Instagram — we love her openness — that she was beginning to lose her hair. “My right eyelashes all fell out except 3 corner ones,” she wrote.
