Meet the most adorable couple on Instagram: 101-year-old Kirk Douglas and his great-granddaughter, Lua Douglas.
On Monday, Cameron Douglas — the grandson of the iconic Jewish actor — shared a touching photo of his grandfather gazing upon his daughter. In the black-and-white Instagram post, captioned “LOVE,” the 8-month-old is seen reaching for her great-grandpa’s hand. It’s almost too cute to handle.
Born last December to Cameron Douglas and his partner, Viviane Thibes, Lua already has a special connection to her great-grandfather. Her middle name, Izzy, is a homage to Kirk Douglas’s given name, Issur Danielovitch, which was often shortened to “Izzy.”
After serving nearly seven years on drug charges, Cameron (yes, son of Michael Douglas!) moved in with his grandfather and is pursuing a career in acting.
Here’s hoping he’ll post more heartwarming, multi-generational pictures of the adorable roommates.
