Right in time for Wednesday evening, the start of Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day, which commemorates the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948), your favorite Jewish a capella group is back with an original song.
Yup, we’re talking about The Maccabeats. They produced an original song and video for “Megillat Ha’atzmaut,”composed by Jacob Spike Kraus, which draws lyrics from Israel’s Proclamation of Independence.
