If you live in the New Y0rk area, this one’s for you.
There’s a great musical at the 14th St Y called Hanna and the Moonlit Dress. It’s based on an Israeli children’s book (
Hanna’s Sabbath Dress
, by Itzchak Schweiger-Dmi’el) and it should be pretty fantastic. Not only is it a great play, but children will actually get to participate by helping craft paper masks, costumes, and pieces of the set with the actors. Talk about interactive, right?
So how do you win tickets to the show? Simple. Just comment below and tell us your favorite Jewish children’s book–and why it’s so great. We’ll pick a winner by Thursday, January 5, so tell us your answer now!
