Who doesn’t like “Winnie the Pooh?” Seriously, I have never met anyone who doesn’t adore the honey-loving bear and his ensemble of friends Piglet, Owl, and Tigger who all hang in Hundred Acre Wood.
Well, now, on October 13, a new Pooh adventure is coming to a theater near you. The trailer just came out today.
“Goodbye Christopher Robin,” which is a live-action film, explores the relationship between “Winnie the Pooh” creator A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin (also the name of the boy in the books). It focuses on how Christopher’s collection of stuffed animals inspired the classic children’s book–along with what it meant to people after World War I. Sounds like the perfect mixture of sweet, family-friendly, along with a compelling storyline.
