Desigual, the fashion brand from Spain wants to promote healthy body image for women—so they recently used unretouched photos for a swimsuit campaign with body-positive advocate and model Charli Howard. Howard also co-curates for all All Women Project.
Howard posted some of the photos from the campaign on her Instagram with helpful captions promoting body confidence, such as:
“Beauty is measured in so many sizes and shapes, not just size 0 … Now I’m curvier, I feel so much sexier and excited to wear swimwear … We all have insecurities and little faults, but that’s exactly what makes us unique and special … I think that every woman is a real woman. Who cares if they are short, tall, thin, fat, athletic, heterosexual or gay? Every one of us is marvelous.”

Can we ask?
It's important to us to keep the warm, joyfully Jewish community on Kveller accessible for all. Reader donations help us do just that. Can you spare a few to keep Kveller free? (We'll love you forever.)
Howard, is also outspoken about promoting positive body image and raising awareness around eating disorders (so we can better combat and educate). Here’s some awesome posts of her own on her personal Instagram account:
