‘Girls’ Actress Jemima Kirke & Husband Separate After Seven Years

“Girls” actress and Jewish mom Jemima Kirke and her husband Michael Mosberg have reportedly split up, according to People. The couple have been married for seven years. She and Mosberg married back in 2009, and have two children together, their daughter Rafaella Israel and son Memphis.

When they met, Kirke was in rehab, as she told the Telegraph last February–she also mentioned that Mosberg was setting up a rehab center, The Hook Recovery Center, which is scheduled to open this year in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Apparently, Kirke also started drinking again, socially, which her husband was initially worried about (and you can’t really blame him), stating:

“Mike was nervous at first. He said, ‘Look, I would never tell you what to do; you are an adult — just don’t f–k it up.’ He had every right to be scared, he knew my story. But I was a different person back then. I was in my early 20s. I didn’t have children.”

We hope the split is amicable, especially for the sake of their two children.
