It’s official. 43-year-old Tori Spelling is pregnant with her fifth child, making her family a party of seven. She and husband Dean McDermott are reportedly surprised, but of course, thrilled, as she told PEOPLE:
“It was a total surprise. But we always wanted a big family. I’m really excited.
Dean was saying, ‘We just got Finn out of diapers; I thought we were in the clear!’ For the first time this year, they’re all in school. So it’s like, wow. We’re basically starting over.”
The couple are parents to Liam, 9, Stella, 8, Hattie, 5, and Finn, 4. Dean also has an 18-year-old son from a previous marriage. 49-year-old McDermott joked that the family needs a “Sprinter van.” The couple just celebrated their 10-year anniversary together–Spelling went on to say that while the baby wasn’t planned, the surprise couldn’t have been more joyous:
“This baby happened at the best time. Nothing is ever perfect, but I’m so madly in love with my husband and with our kids. The idea of adding to that is such a blessing.”
