When 2-year-old Kaiden Orantes had been experiencing progressive hearing loss, his mom took him to the doctor to check it out. Recently, Kaiden received new hearing aids–and boy, was he excited. His mom, Caitlin Orantes, shared a video on Facebook of Kaiden’s reaction.
The video begins with Caitlin speaking to Kaiden right after he received his hearing aids. What happens next is too adorable for words to capture: He did the cutest happy dance ever–because he could hear his mom’s voice better.
While his doctors don’t know why Kaiden has progressively lost his hearing since being born, as he has no hearing in his right ear and very little in his left, his mom says he loves music, stating:
“He has this drum set that he plays very well, and he’s just all about singing.”
