All the Jewish celebrity parent gossip you (n)ever wanted to know.

– Future Jewish mom Selma Blair has taken to social action through fashion, sporting a t-shirt over her baby bump that supports H&M’s Fashion Against AIDS cause. The shirt says “Brains First, Body 2nd” which I’m actually having a hard time connecting back to AIDS, but, um, yay for charity! (Celebrity Baby Scoop)

– Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee took a shot at our leading lady Natalie Portman, mentioning in a radio interview that young actresses like Portman are setting a bad example to impressionable youngsters by having children before getting married. Family values, angry Republicans, blah blah blah. (Babyrazzi)

The identity of Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen’s secret baby has been revealed: Elula. The name comes from the Hebrew word, elul, which is the 6th month in the Jewish calendar, which we can also now assume is when the baby girl was born. Score one for Jewish names in the spotlight. (Celebrity Baby Scoop)

Over at Babble, a slew of celebrities have shared the worst parenting advice they’ve ever gotten, and Jerry Seinfeld shares some interesting insight: “[…] We, for some reason, can’t stand it if our kids have a situation that they need to ‘fix’.
