What: Minnie Mouse dress

Why: Romi’s favorite thing in the world is her Minnie Mouse dress, which she received from her safta (grandmother) who lives in Los Angeles. She loves it so much, because, as she says, “Lots of bows and just for me. When I wear my dress, I feel very special. So many different kinds of bows. Sometimes, I just hold it, and look at it. I hug it, too. Because it feels really good against my skin.”
