Wouldn’t life be a lot less complicated if we all thought the best of each other? It’s as if moms, no matter what they do, are under such extreme public scrutiny, are targets for criticism. That’s what happened when Telanie Smith was pumping breast milk in the back seat of her car for her 5-month-old.
Her baby is tongue-tied and has trouble breastfeeding, so she has to pump milk every two to three hours so she can feed him. Obviously, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that’s quite a lot of time and work, which also means, she has to pump in public. Unless she never goes out.

While Smith was in her own backseat, a man and woman passed by; the woman decided to take it upon herself to scold the mother, and literally told her to “put her fucking tits away” in front of Smith’s 6-year-old son.
Her son, however, wasn’t able to let his mom get bullied. He simply said, “If you don’t like it, don’t look.”
What a perfect response. I don’t know why people don’t mind their own business. Unless someone is in danger, and the situation requires immediate attention, go about your business. Don’t look. Don’t like the mini-skirt someone’s wearing? Or the fact that a mom is breastfeeding in public? Not your problem.
It seems like many adults could learn a lot from this kid.
