When Jacksonville, Florida mom Erika Jones was told that her baby girl might not be born alive, you can imagine the utter devastation she felt. At her 30-week ultrasound, her doctor spotted something that would make any parent have a heart attack: a large brain tumor. According to ABC News, Erika and her husband Stephen had made peace with the diagnoses, Erika stating, “We prepared ourselves for the worst and decided that she would have a meaningful life, no matter how short it might be. Erika added, “I imagined God just saying, ‘I’m so sorry’ and crying with us.”
