All the Jewish celebrity parent gossip you (n)ever wanted to know.
-Amanda Peet wrote a picture book about Christmas–or lack thereof. “Dear Santa, Love Rachel Rosenstein,” which will be released by Random House Children’s books in the fall of 2015, tells the story of a young Jewish girl who wonders why Santa doesn’t visit her house. Peet said she was inspired by her two children, who wanted to know why their family didn’t have a Christmas tree. (ABC News)
-Drew Barrymore bounced right back after second daughter Frankie, she told People. The pounds fell off much faster than they did with first daughter Olive, who is now 1.5. She also talked about the challenges of juggling two babies: “Just being split. They’re awake and asleep at different times, or awake at the same time, and it’s a juggling act a little bit.” (People)
-Andi Dorfman, the first-ever Jewish “Bachlorette,” said “no thanks” to hot tubs and bikinis. “Mine will probably be on the more romantic side,” she told TV Guide of her series which kicked off on Monday. “You will not see a lot of hot-tub scenes; it’s not really my thing. But I feel like you can be sexy by being romantic and it doesn’t need to involve bikinis and hot tubs.” (TV Guide)
-Speaking of the Bachelorette, honorary Jew Jason Biggs landed in hot water for his Twitter commentary on the show, in which he made light of contestant Eric Hill’s tragic death in a sky diving accident. (Huff Post)
