My husband came to me a few weeks ago and said, “There’s only one thing I want for Father’s Day: an Ambien. I want to sleep all night uninterrupted.” I just laughed. Oh silly dad with his unrealistic expectations.
In lieu of procuring prescription drugs for him, I decided breakfast in bed is probably the next best thing, which I think is pretty awesome. And some homemade cards. And maybe, just maybe, an extra hour to sleep.
Whether you go simple with some scrambled eggs, fancy with something baked, or just throw some toast and a banana on a tray, dad will love to get treated with morning snuggles and delicious eats this Father’s Day. Here’s some of our favorite breakfast eats.
Note: All breakfast in bed should be served with a strong Bloody Mary, an iced coffee, and 20 minutes of alone time in the bathroom with their iPad.
