This Dad Singing with His Baby in Sign Language Is Beyond Heartwarming

There honestly isn’t anything sweeter than seeing a parent having fun with his or her kid. In this case, Kevin Nadrowski recently had an adorable (and significant) bonding experience with his daughter Bayleigh. In a video he recently posted to YouTube, he captured the moment in which he and his daughter were singing “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”

What made that moment so special is the fact that both father and daughter were singing in American Sign language — both Kevin and Bayleigh are deaf. Because of that, Kevin is in the midst of teaching his daughter how to sign. In the caption to the video, Kevin wrote:

“I am [sic] deaf father singing “If You Are Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands” song in American Sign Language with my deaf daughter.”

It’s amazing to witness Kevin support his daughter in the best way possible–through experience, love, and support. What better teacher could she have than someone who knows exactly what she’s going through–and can anticipate issues that may arise as she gets older? And also who gives amazing high fives. It’s beautiful to see that enjoying music and listening to songs can happen in many different ways.
